Maybe* Solutions
I was brought on board to establish the framework, procedures, and materials for a UK-based startup social commerce platform, which was currently in its public beta stage and undergoing a second round of financing. My duties included formulating the brand identity and devising preliminary acquisition strategies to attract beta users and expand the audience ahead of the launch.
Deliverables:
Digital Marketing: responsible for building website, copywriting, asset creation, blogging and planning and managing social media and digital strategy.
Customer Acquisition: Devised and deployed a series of growth tactics and creative strategies to grow beta testing list, and early app users on a ‘lean’ budget.
Campaign management: Devised, planned and currently rolling out a national “Future High Streets” campaign in the UK that is effectively warming our B2B audience of retailers for the launch of Maybe*, whilst leveraging their consumer audiences.
Product development: Responsible for contributing to product development, pitching user stories and new features, managing beta testing and providing feedback on UX. Commencing design sprint as project lead.
Career highlights:
Launched and grew social media communities from scratch to 2500 on Twitter, 1500 on Instagram and 500 on Facebook over a 4 month period and built up consumer database to 7000 early / beta users, pre-launch and without any ad spend.
Future High Streets campaign has engaged over 40 UK retailers and is currently being rolled out nationally across the UK. The campaign has also been nominated for a UK business award.
Maybe* is now live (soft launch) on app store, whilst web app and Chrome extension are currently in Beta.
